While doing some Insta stalking this weekend, I stumbled upon the super fun, Bow and Drape, a collection of fully customizable sweatshirts, tees, accessories and more. Once I started going through their feed, I recognized a hilarious “Merlot” sweatshirt worn by none other than Carole Radziwill (my obsession). If it’s cool enough for Carole, you bet your sweet arse I’m going to look into it.
Follow my blog with BloglovinAfter an almost 10 year hiatus from coloring my hair, I’ve decided it’s time I got my hair did. The last time I colored it was when my mom pointed out a gray hair and laughed….LAUGHED at me. I made an appointment to have it colored the next day. Now the gray hair is back and brought friends so I’m determined to make a change. Enter my new hair inspiration : balayage.
One of the things I loved most about our house when we were house shopping was the built in shelves. But once we moved in, I was incredibly overwhelmed and intimidated. Shelf styling is my weakness!! I wanted to put it off, but my b.f., Annie forced me into styling. She was relentless. I tried to quit like four times, but I wasn’t allowed. Thank goodness she was there to help. Once the shelves were done, the rest of the room seemed like a breeze.
If you’re a new mother like me, you’ve probably turned multitasking into an art form and I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty impressed with how many things I can juggle at once. We are superwomen guys! But like all superheroes, we have one weakness…finding time to anything for ourselves. I haven’t had a haircut in a year and a half ( my hair has voluntarily jumped off my head. I’m going BALD), I’ve done nothing with my magazines or books except dust them and the clothes I can fit into are covered in food at all times . And the funny thing is that I could care less 99% of the time. BUT, in order to regain my sanity, I need some pampering. The odds are that you do too! So tell your husband to clear his Saturday schedule or get on the phone with the sitter and get out there and treat yo’ self!!
