In the past few months, I have developed a serious obsession with skincare products. Makeup has always been fun to me, but my actual skincare regime had mostly consisted of hand soap (yes on my face) and moisturizer. What I’ve learned from my new love so far is that skincare products can (and already have) make a difference in my tired looking skin. The other thing I’ve learned is that there are exactly one badrillion products out there and finding the right ones are confusing! So, I’ve done a little research and a little testing (um.. skincare is expensive) and have found 6 must have skin care products…for the time being.
Aghghg so many sales, so little time. Luckily, I selected a few of the best sale items for you. This was actually really dangerous to put together, because I added about 20 things to my shopping cart, but you know what, I need to get X Mas presents, my birthday is tomorrow and I don’t buy anything for myself anymore. So there is my…and your justification :) Best Monday Ever. Happy shopping.

California is always a good idea. Especially for a girls’ trip. But, packing for Palm Springs was a little harder than I expected. While we had plans of laying by the pool during the day, the temps dropped dramatically once the sun went down at night. So we not only had to pack pool wear, but also heavy sweaters and light jackets. And on top of that, it was a girlfriend’s bachelorette getaway so we wanted to look cute, but comfy for going out at night.
I never actually understood the meaning of “tired” until I had a newborn baby. Those first few months can be so brutal for new moms, but our super powers take over and our bodies push through all the sleepless nights. Sadly, the lack of rest can take a toll on our eyes. Even if you’re not a new mom, you may have issues with dark circles or bags and that’s because the skin around your eyes is 10 times thinner than the rest of your face. It also ages 36% faster. Argh! So I did a little research to see what causes these annoying problems and how to solve them.
Well, we are on our way to New York today. No, silly gooses it’s not for fashion week, it’s just for fun. And as luck would have it, Campbell has his first cold. Hooray. So along with adorable outfits for him, new shoes and baubles for me, I’ll be packing a Nose Frida, Boogie Wipes, a travel humidifier, Zicam and tons of distractions for the flight. Ugghgh This plane ride and trip should be interesting. Boy, have times changed.
